Gameplay and features
The first useful decision happens before the ball is thrown: put your team in MAN mode. With C managed by you and D controlled by the computer, the exhibition game leads through pitcher selection into a view of the field. The players perform the baseball action while you use the command menus.
This edition
This collection entry is labelled Japan for NES. Its opening title screen and menus display Japanese.
How to start
Start with the C-versus-D exhibition setup described above. Once the field appears, use A before a pitch to open the time menu. Select the running option to view its choices, and use B to return to play.
Verified controls
Arrow keys move the menu cursor. X sends A to confirm or open the time menu; Z sends B to return. Enter sends Start. On a touch screen, use the on-screen directions and A/B buttons. The player's Pause and Restart controls handle pausing and starting over.
