FUNTOTAP
Content & rights.
We record permissions for game files, emulator cores, sound and cover art separately. Selected entries are published after a playability review while their rights records remain pending. A playability review checks game operation; it does not confirm distribution permission.
Licenses and credits
NES: 8-Bit Table Tennis by Mike Billington (MIT). Mega Drive: retro-homebrew-games (MIT). Covers show actual gameplay frames. Capture sources are recorded for each game.
Player: EmulatorJS 4.2.3 source (GPL-3.0). Cores: FCEUmm source and Genesis Plus GX source and license, plus FBNeo source and license for arcade games, and PicoDrive source and license for selected Mega Drive games. Core licenses apply separately; commercial deployment requires review of their terms.
Copyright complaints & removal
If you are a rights holder or an authorized representative and believe content on FunToTap infringes your rights, please submit a complaint. You can report a game, cover image, audio or other material.
- Submit a report. Provide the game page, the affected material, your contact details, your relationship to the rights holder and evidence supporting your claim.
- Review and verification. We record each report and review the material and supporting evidence. We may request further information and suspend an entry during review.
- Removal and follow-up. When a rights issue is identified, we take the affected entry down and block further game loading and resource requests. We retain a record of the complaint and the action taken.
Content stays unavailable while a takedown case is unresolved. Resolving a complaint does not automatically republish the content; publication requires a separate review.
