GET INTO THE GAME
Make yourself at home.
Start the player and wait for the game's PUSH START BUTTON prompt. Send Start to begin, then follow or skip the opening dialogue until the road appears. Avoid repeatedly sending Start after the chase begins, because the original game also uses it to pause.
Use the directions to steer. B fires and A changes gear in the driving section. Begin with short sideways movements so you can watch your car's position among the other vehicles.

Gameplay and features
Traffic, roadblocks and a scrolling overhead road make the first chase easy to identify. Keep track of the red player car, steer across the road and fire forward. The starting sequence includes dialogue before control passes to the driving scene.
This edition
This entry is labelled USA for NES. Its opening prompts and dialogue display English.
How to start
Wait for the start prompt, begin the game, and proceed through the opening dialogue. In the car stage, try a short left or right movement, fire with B and use A to change gear. Use the player's Pause control when you want to stop and inspect the screen.
Verified controls
Arrow keys steer. Z sends B for firing and X sends A for changing gear in the car stage. Enter sends the original game's Start command. Touch controls provide the same directions and A/B buttons. Restart asks for confirmation before starting the game over.
